Been messing around with this because I really wanted to play pop'n again, feeling pomu wouldn't work on Windows 8 (And it feels like a better emulation tool anyways sans characters, but I'm sure you could code that in anyways) my cool thing also doesn't seem to work on windows 8, but that's kinda besides the point
anyways I'll probably upload a vid later to show the minimal edits I've done to it. I guess you guys can also use this thread as anything lr2, post scores or links to some .bms/.pms files and whatnot. Would be nice if splash beats wasen't down...

Moderator and Manager of Trot 100 · 46 commentsIt has been working on my Windows 8, which I downloaded it for. I run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3. The only issue has been the occasional random crash (which is only once a blue moon and you can go several multi-hour sessions without encountering it) and an issue more related to my hardware where if I hard-sleep it before opening the program, it won't succeed on the network check and then I have to restart because of the priority not letting me get to Task Manager.

Pony · 18 commentsI use compat. mode on my game too and it didn't work, I couldn't find the specific error since all it does is opens then minimizes right after with no way to recover it
I might have a work around since I did got a new hdd of another game, but otherwise LR2 is still a pretty decent program for me to mess around in
