So one fine afternoon, while trying out SM on Ubuntu, in true multitasking nature, i opened my browser and looked through my usual subscription lists. Then i see ACRacebest (most known for his Bronies React series) uploading his usual pony convention vlogs, but wait...what's that...in the thumbnai--WAIT, IS THAT--

*insert girly scream of ultimate fangasm here, which my neighbours thought it was someone else*

Yep, it's Sun Beamer (always forget his stage name) as the mode selection "mascot" for Classic/Normal, but with the quality of it looking like it's been filmed on...a screen? So then i looked at the video (which is actually the second part of them being in the...gaming room...) and the first thing i see is Saber playing the FNAF Tombstone song on Medium, with an arrow speed of 1x. Will not go into detail what they did (Spoilers: They sucked, but in a silly way), but whole thing about it, is the fact, that 2 pretty popular bronies, playing a game of open-sourced DDR, while it uses THE pony theme i'm currently hooked on non-stop this week, inside a pony convention with possibly atleast 5k+ other bronies out there.

This is something i wanna see happen to TM in general. It's to gain the popularity it deserves IMO. I want people (like me) to nerd about the game, i want a bigger community.

These videos made me really excited, and i just thought to share my excitement with you guys.

So the video in question:

Part 1 of them visiting said gaming room.

• 3:28 - Not the focus of it yet, but you can see the title menu of TM3 in the distance, and you can also hear it's title music aswell.
• 6:55 - And there it is...well they're observers right now, but there it is, 2 random guys (one of them being a "Staff" which i think is part of this convention?...or is it...) playing a song, which i can't quite see what it is.
• 7:13 - Random Beatmania, cause why not. (while being...umm...silly?...does that word apply here anymore?) I do like those controllers though, and i wonder if that's another SM build, or is it an official thing or something...

Part 2 of them actually trying the thing out, with either them being bad at the game, or the mats aren't that good (bars, yo)

• 0:36 Yaaay F, and there's Sun Beamer
• 0:45-4:40 - Ignore this, nothing to see here, no already popular romhack, or a completely original weird romhack here

• 6:02 - Ohey, Hey Ocean...wait, isn't this from the Trotmania Crusader pack?

Also, what i'm curious about, is that are any of the TM staff aware of this? (not asking, because of permissioning or the like, but as a pleasant surprise)...or...was someone part of the dev team actually there? The latter would make more sense though, but if it IS the latter, i want someone to show me if that person is on camera, so i can wave at my monitor and smile like the fanboy i am. I am fully aware though, that Trotmania Chrystalize received the same treatment back then, as i saw that video aswell sometime back, but that looked like a smaller convention, with smaller insignificant people.

There you have it. The TM project made it into another convention, which caught the attention of 2...dare i say "celebs".
