Video previews in TM3
Well umm, hello there, first post, although it's been long since I registered. Firstly, I'd like to thank to all TM staff for their big effort in making this great addon/theme 
But let's go to the point: I noticed that many songs in all TrotMania packs have video previews, either in .avi or mp4, but normally in order to see these I need to switch to a different theme that supports displaying them. I just wanted to know/suggest if future enhancements to TrotMania III (or TM4 maybe) will display previews for songs that have one?
Not too long ago I made some changes to a script that would display these videos as jackets, but it didn't look that great and was very slow. Maybe displaying these only on the selected jacket could be good, but I just don't know how that works

TM Head · 162 commentsTM4, yes. The layout (which, lucky lucky, you're the first person to see!) was designed to enable them.
My other themes (the Obelisk ones) also support them.

It will depend on if 5.1 is stable by the time we release. Right now 5.1's in alpha, and from what I was told, the goal of this release was to do some under the hood changes and refactorings that will advance the platform but still maintain most compatibility with existing content (they are planning a much larger redesign for the future). Besides some changes to enable the new noteskin system (which at the moment is optional. The hoofprints port I did to it is also pretty cool), in its current state the theme works correctly on both SM 5.0.10 and 5.1-git with no additional changes.

So in conclusion... no video previews for TM3 until TM4 is released? I'm 100% fine with that Keep up the amazing work!

I just didn't build the layout of that screen with previews in mind.
And yeah that's what I said. SM6 is going to be either a major refactoring or a complete rewrite
